“I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read and all the friends I want to see.” — John Burroughs
Tomorrow marks exactly two weeks until I leave Seoul. I’ve been a little too overwhelmed—with things to do and feelings to feel—to think about posting much lately. But today, between errands and to-dos, I couldn’t help editing a few photos from last weekend’s trip to Paju Book City. I have a lot of things to say about this magical place (and my magical friend Violet who showed me around), but like dear John Burroughs said, the day is short. (Until then, please read Violet’s guide [she's a local!])
(Credit goes to Violet for spotting this beautiful trio of nests. I think John Burroughs would have liked this photo best of all.)

These photos are dynamite! I love them.
If you have a chance, check out photog Daniel Everett’s work – he published a book last year with Etudes Books called “Standard Edition” and I think you will like his work. Reminds me of the photos above.
Thank you!
Am looking through Daniel Everett’s site now, and I recall having seen Standard Edition at a bookshop in Seoul. I love his style—and I appreciate the recommendation. Will be bookmarking it for inspiration.
